X8 professional drum techs are not only great at reparing djembes, they're also talented djembe performers and teachers.
How it works:
Please contact us at (800) 771-9645 to confirm what you'd like to have repaired and we will be happy to provide you with a quote. Most work takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
Our head replacement and tuning package includes:
In many cases you will also need new rope. X8 Drums offers the following types of rope. Please note all rope is a high quality (Low-Stretch Alpine braided Nylon):
PP 4mm - $25
PP 5mm - $30
HTB 4mm - $35
HTB 5mm - $40
*There is an additional charge of $20 to re-fit your djembe with new rope.
Shipping costs are not included in our pricing. Please contact us at (800) 771-9645 for additional work including ring and shell repair.

- Removal of existing head
- Replace with new head
- Apply coat of teak oil
- Tune and Test your djembe
