About Us: You know that Chic produced, Sister Sledge song "We Are Family." Well, that lyric is really the foundation of what we're about. Founded by a New York City rock musician and a Web Designer/Internet Guru, X8 Drums is all about family. After all we are family (married), share of love for music and had a vision to create the best on-line experience for all things percussion.

Why percussion instruments? Drums are the foundation for all great songs and pretty much music in general. Without the drums you just have melody floating around looking for a home. However, once that percussion kicks in you know you're going for a ride. More specifically we wanted to deal with hand drums because of their rich history and aesthetic beauty.
